Kasey Elise Walker is African American, Los Angeles-born Writer-Director-Actress known for appearing in the hulu series Into The Dark and the feature film North Hollywood, starring Vince Vaughn. Although Kasey began her career as an actress, her passion for story telling inspired her to co-write and produce The Dispute. The short film screened at Sundance and SXSW in 2019 and is currently being developed into a feature film. Her writing slate also includes Would you Care if I left? a narrative podcast starring Jorge Lendeborg and Alicia Wainwright, and Soho Script Lab 2021 winner, Hoop Dreams, a narrative short film she directed that had it’s world premiere at Tribeca Film festival 2022. Also in development is a comedic dramatic episodic based on her adolescent years growing up in South Los Angeles during the early 2000’s, an animated feature titled Dove Love, and a dramatic feature titles Teri King loosely based on actual events in 1980’s South Central.
